Installing vinyl pillar trim can dramatically transform the appearance of your vehicle, especially when it's tailored for a specific vehicle like Nissan Altima. Choosing a high-quality vinyl product designed specifically for your vehicle will ensure a better fit and longer-lasting results. Whether you choose precut or wrap, the first step is to thoroughly clean the surface of the pillar posts using a mild detergent and water to remove any dirt or grease. Once installed, apply gentle heat to the entire area to help the adhesive bond with the pillar's surface. Gently press the vinyl into place, using the squeegee to smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles, working from the center outward. Next, gather the necessary tools for the installation, including a squeegee, heat gun, and a sharp knife or blade. Ultimately, whether you choose precut or wrap, vinyl pillar trim offers an affordable and effective way to personalize and protect your vehicle's pillars, making it an excellent choice for any car owner, including those with a specific model like Nissan Altima.

Two of my main pieces were just over 1/8" short so now I have a noticeable gap. It's critical to buy rapid tac to spray on the vinyl piece and the panel so you can move and position the piece around. If not, you will NOT be able to fit it. The glue stick dries up quickly and is not worth the money since it dried up before I finished all the pieces. I paid the extra $10 for the lifetime warranty but not sure if I even needed that considering the vinyl is thin and didn't look like "lifetime quality" material.
