Before you can begin with your next craft project, sign installation or vehicle wrap application, it's imperative that you take the time to properly clean and prepare the surfaces that your vinyl will be adhering to. In fact, there is almost no other step in the process that's as important as the prep and clean phase -- without it you may as well throw all of your film directly inthe garbage because grease, dirt and grime wreak havoc on vinyl films causing delamination, bubbling, discoloration and more.
In order to know how much film you're going to need you have to measure the surface you're wrapping or on whihc you want to install your graphics. In additrion to measuring tools you'll also need to avail yourself of some kind of marking pens and pencils and we carry Stabilo products (among others) expressly for that purpose.
When people think of the tools used in the sign, craft and wrap trade installation tools and fluids are usually the first thing that come to mind. We are proud to offer a wide variety of slip solutions, magents, primers, weeding pens, air-release picks, squeegees, cards and more. Not sure which tool you need for the job? Contact us via email, chat or phone and we can get you the answers you need in no time.
Once you've finished installing your vinyl it's not as if you can just forget about it. You need to nbe sure to clean, protect and maintain it to get the longest possible life out of it. That's whty we carry a number of aftercare polishes and fluids as well as coatings to help preserve the look of your signage, graphics and wraps for years to come.
There's a famous saying that "What goes up must come down" although in the world of vinyl films it would be more acccurate to say that what goes down must come up. In other words, at some point, your graphics or wrap will need to be removed either to apply a new one or to give it a dignified end before it cracks, peels and fades at the twenty year mark. In order to help you through this process we have a number of tools and adhesive removers that should make removal of your vinyl films somewhat easier and will help you prevent damage to the substrate wheter that's a storefront window or your car's paint job.
Nice to be able to rotate and continue using this for vinyl application. I would purchase this again.
Nice stiff squeegee. Also purchased a felt sleeve and it fit this nicely.
Convenient and easy to use
