Despite being a cognate for the ancient Greek word meaning color "chroma," it really isn't right to call chrome a color at all. In fact, if you go searching for it on a color wheel you won't find it at all. Luckily for you, we have it here for all of your chrome sign vinyl needs and if you're looking for a gloss, matte or reflective Chrome sign vinyl, browse our wide selection of great brands of sign films to get just the chrome you're looking for.
Truth be told, as we said above, Chrome doesn't actually have a place on the color wheel although it can be used in conjunction with any of the primary and secondary colors that appear on it. It is achromatic, meaning that it has no hue of its own.
As we've noted above, Chrome really can't be considered a color, so it doesn’t sit opposite a color on the wheel. Use colors that let chrome shine against a simplified background, such as black and white with one bright accent color like red, orange or turquoise. Chrome also works well in color schemes that are based on shades of one color, or with refined palettes of neutrals. Be careful not to use too much chrome or you might come off looking like you're trying to recreate the 60s idea of the space age.
Irrespective of which type of professional or commercial vinyl cutter you own, you can be sure it will cut any of the Chrome Sign vinyl we sell. Listed below is a brief list of some of the more popular electronic cutting machines you can use with our vinyl:
In general, standard blades can be used with most varieties of Sign vinyl although we do recommend a 60 degree blade for reflective and glow-in-the-dark Sign films. As always, be sure to check your down force and speed settings before cutting any film types you have not used before to ensure optimal weeding
not my cup of tea but its quality material
Great look and easy to cut.
Placed an order 8/30, told it would take 5-7 days and unfortunately there is no option to pay to expedite. I patiently waited 7 business days and reached back out for an update. At that point I was informed this was BACKORDERED. Would have been nice to know when I had called to ask about original lead time and was just told the processing time. Then I was told it was coming in, but they'd have to check in with the warehouse for an update. I had to call or open chats almost every day to request updates on my order. Continually told "let me check and let you know". Most of the time I didn't get updates and had to follow up again. It was the worst customer service experience I have had in a long time. There is no sense of urgency and don't use this company if you need anything within a month.
