Maroon is a dark shade of red and is often used synonymously with the word burgundy even though they are slightly different. In case you were interested, the key difference between them: is that maroon is a mix of red and brown, while burgundy is a mix of red and purple. As a result, burgundy is slightly brighter in appearance than maroon and gives it more of a purplish tinge. Some other colors that look like maroon include oxblood, scarlet and crimson and all look equally awesome on your car, truck or SUV. Not only do these maroon vinyl films wrap your rides but they also work on your cabinets, fridges, boats and even aircraft! Our full selection of 3M™ 1080 and 2080 Series wraps, Avery™ SW900 films and ORACAL® 970RA premium wrapping films give you only the best for your buck and are available in sizes from as little as one foot up to 25 yard rolls.
These vinyl wraps films are made for use without overlaminates so you can start wrapping as soon as you get your roll.
Maroon car wraps can last for up to 8 years under normal conditions but you should check the specs on each film before buying as carbon fiber, brushed and structure films have shorter life spans. We also recommend that you remove and apply new vinyl wraps every three years. The reason for this is that the vinyl will be much easier to remove in a single piece.
Naturally, ease of installation depends on how experienced you are installing vinyl wraps but boat, car and motorcycle wraps feature air-release adhesives certainly makes it easier. As we mentioned above, its thickness and air-release adhesives give you a lot of margin for error so even the most inexperienced, DIY wrappers and installers should be able to get professional looking results if they follow the basic guidelines for wrap installation.
These Maroon vinyl wraps have been specifically developed for long-term, complete wraps of fleet and personal passenger vehicles in solid, opaque colors. Due to its thickness and the properties of its cast make-up, this vinyl conforms over curved surfaces, rivets and corrugations with ease. And, since it is manufactured with a clear-coat it does not require overlaminate.

First time trying to install vinyl wrap. Came out pretty good. Learned a lot in the process. Watched a bunch of install videos ahead of time. A little trickier than I thought.
Looks great and easy to apply.
