If you are driving around your vehicle without any paint protection film, then you are very brave. There are many things that want to damage the paint of your vehicle and eventually will. Prevent that by installing paint protection film and you won't ever have to worry about your vehicle's paint getting damaged ever again. And the film comes with built in self-healing technology that will get rid of any small scratches or damages over time. Make the switch to PPF and you won't have to think about your vehicle's paint getting damaged ever again.
The first generation of Toyota Highlander was first introduced in 2000 and shared the same platform with the Lexus RX XU30 series. A five seater was released in 2001 and a seven seater was released in 2004. The Highlander was highly successful in various markets as it offered on-road comfort.
Completely wrap your first generation vehicle with 15.6 yards of paint protection film. That does not include the windows, wheels, or the lights of the vehicle. To do a partial wrap, you will need 5.2 yards of film and that will cover one side of the vehicle or the roof.
The second generation of Toyota Highlander made its debut in 2007 at the Chicago Auto Show and was released later that year. Japan did not see the second generation vehicle as it was not released there. A new Electric Power Steering system was added as well as a standard backup 3.5-inch LCD display for the Sports and Limited models.
To fully wrap your second generation vehicles, you will need 15.9 yards of paint protection film. That is not including the windows, wheels, or the lights of the vehicle. For a partial wrap, you need 5.3 yards of film and that will cover one side of the vehicle or the roof.
The third generation of Toyota Highlander was manufactured in 2013 for the 2014 model year. It was first shown to the public at the New York International Auto Show. The third gen model was longer and wider than the previous generations as Toyota changed its box-like appearance to that similar to the other mid-size SUVs. It had many comfort upgrades as well as introducing eight passenger seating.
If you plan on fully wrapping your third generation vehicle, then you will need 16 yards of paint protection film. That is excluding the windows, wheels, or the lights of the vehicle. To do a partial wrap we recommend, 15.3 yards of film and that will cover one side of the vehicle or the roof.
The fourth generation of Toyota Highlander was first showcased at the New York International Auto Show in 2019. It offered 5 trim levels, an increase from three that it normally offered. Those five trim levels are: L, LE, XLE, Limited and Platinum. More cargo space was added behind the third row, an increase from previous generations. A hybrid version was made available in early 2020 called the XSE trim for the 2021 model year.
To completely wrap your fourth generation vehicle, you will need 16.5 yards of paint protection film. That is not including the windows, wheels, or lights of the vehicle. If you want to do a partial wrap, then you will need 5.5 yards of film and that will be able to cover one side of the vehicle or the roof.
No matter which generation of Toyota Highlander you own, it is always a great idea to protect it with paint protection film. As any driver knows, there are a lot of things that will damage your vehicle's paint on the road or even when it is parked. By installing PPF, you will ensure that those things don't damage your vehicle and instead of the film. And with self-healing technology, your film will erase small scratches with no aid in a short time. With a lifespan of 10 years, your vehicle will be in good hands for a long time.
Butthole
IT STINKS DOWN HERE
Had to buy giant pieces just to see the color. They do not offer samples, makes zero sense. Why does one have to buy a 5’x1’ piece to see the color? Isn’t that a waste of product?
