    Jeep Wrangler TJ (1996)

    The second generation of Jeep Wrangler, the TJ, made its debut in 1996 as a 1997 model year. It went back to the round headlamps that were featured on the CJ. The TJ set the precedent for all Wranglers to have coil-spring suspensions, a change from the leaf-spring suspensions. The automatic shifter was moved to the floor.

The TJ went through a few changes throughout the years and it will vary on size depending on the year it was released. This does not include the windows, wheels, and the lights of the vehicle. For a partial, you will need 4.2 - 4.6 yards of film and that will cover one side of the vehicle or the roof.

    Jeep Wrangler JK (2006)

    The third generation of Jeep Wrangler, the JK made its appearance in 2006 for the 2007 model year. This was the first Wrangler vehicle with a complete redesign as the body, frame and suspension were new. A four-door version called "Unlimited" was also released and it offered a lot more room because of a wheelbase that was over 20 inches longer.

    Jeep Wrangler JL (2017)

    The fourth generation Jeep Wrangler, the JL, was released in 2017 for the 2018 model year and featured a redesigned 8-speed automatic transmission. In 2021, Jeep released a plug-in hybrid version called the Wrangler 4xe. iSeeCars released a study in 2018 that named Jeep Wrangler the vehicle with the lowest depreciation after 5 years.

    If you plan on completely wrapping your fourth generation Jeep Wrangler, the JL, then you will need 14.1 yards for the two-door and 15.9 yards of paint protection film for the four-door. That does not include the windows, lights, or the wheels of the vehicle. A partial wrap will require 4.1 yards of film for the two-door one 4.7 for the four-door. The partial wrap will cover one side of the vehicle or the roof.
