The process was smooth from ordering to installation. The website was easy to navigate to my specific vehicle and processing was very quick. The vinyl was very easy to work with. Not every single piece was perfect, but with some ingenuity, you can make it work. I had the problem of too much material, especially on driver side door panel sections, but that is a much better problem to have than too little material. The 4D carbon fiber (I chose black) has just enough gloss to avoid the matte look, but not enough shine to look ridiculous or cause sun glare. This kit definitely changed the look of the interior of my ride. It is one of the first things people notice when they get in my car.
The edge seal-it pen did not dry as clear as I hoped. I used a steady hand in one swift motion and you can definitely tell where it is. The squeegee was so perfect, but I could have done without the anti friction felt cover. All that did for me was get white fibers in places I didn’t want them.
I was hoping to have some steering wheel accents, but I was unable to make anything in the kit work for me.
The more time you spend on the installation, the better it will look.
