What is a Window Tint Razor?

Trim away any excess window film which may result during the installation process. Great for trimming third brake light sections and specialty areas of the rear windows such as defroster electric plugs. Be careful though because they are sharp! Always keep the razor side pointed away from you. Always proceed with caution.

Using Rvinyl Mini Razor to Install Rtint Window and Visor

Installing precut window tint and visors can be significantly easier and less time consuming than installing tint film by the roll, but it can still be a difficult process. A big factor that comes into play is the ability of the installer as well as the tools that are used. That is why we recommend using Rvinyl Mini Razor and making the task easier. By using the mini razor, you can cut precisely, making for a smooth and clean finish.

Precut Window Tints and Visor

For the best results, we recommend installing precut window tints and visors. That way, you don’t have to cut any and even if you do, it is a small amount that should be easy to do with the mini razor. You’ll save time and won’t have to rely on the blade as much.

How to Tackle the Curves With Rvinyl Mini Razor

One of the most difficult parts of installing window tints and visors is the curves. Some vehicles or objects have a lot of curves, making it hard to wrap. The best way to approach the curves is to use the razor slowly and precisely. Use a ruler or any object with a flat surface that makes your accuracy with the razor top notch. Be as meticulous as you need to be. This is not a race and you can do it at whatever pace you need to. It is better to take your time than to rush it and make avoidable mistakes.

Proper Tools and Fluids Make Your Job Easier

To ensure the best possible results, make sure that the the proper installation tools and fluids are used. That will make the razor more effective and you won’t have to stop in the middle of installation to go out and buy tools. You can find the proper tools to use on our window tints page or by browsing the web.

Using Mini Razor With Heat Shrinking Film

Lastly, the installation process can do done with ease if you know your stuff. If you are familiar with heat shrinking film, then it will make the installation process simple and easy. If not, we do recommend doing your research before trying to install the window tint. The mini razor can easily cut off any extra film, making the film look smooth and clean.
