970A Vinyl Wraps Series ORACAL® Shift Effect color shifting vinyl wrap films are made for use without overlaminates so you can start wrapping as soon as you get your roll. And, since they are made to be 4 mil thick, they're thicker than either Avery™ SW900, Rwraps™ and 3M™  which means they will flow around corners and into crevices with relative ease and minimize the chances of overstretching.

What Makes This 970A Vinyl Wrap a Wrapping Film?

Unlike calendered vinyl or polyester films, this 970RA Shift Effect vinyl is made especially for wrapping. Characteristics like its RapidAir® technology help you to quickly reposition and slide the vinyl into place. In other words, the film won't stick to itself or anything else prematurely and you'll get bubble-free results too.  Another great characteristic of 970RA Shift Effect wraps is that come standard in sixty inch widths meaning that there will be fewer seams to disrupt the wrap’s flow so you'll have an easier installation experience and get higher-quality installation results.

Are ORACAL® 970 RA Vehicle Wraps Easy to Install?

Naturally, ease of installation depends on how experienced you are installing vinyl wraps but this 970RA Premium Cast Wrapping film certainly makes it easier. As we mentioned above, its 4 mil thickness and air-release adhesives give you a lot of margin for error so even the most inexperienced, DIY wrappers and installers should be able to get professional looking results if they follow the basic guidelines for wrap installation.

Recommended Applications

These 970RA vinyl wraps have been specifically developed for long-term, wraps of personal passenger vehicles. As a result of its thickness and the cast rather than calendered nature of the film, it conforms over curved surfaces, rivets and corrugations with ease.
