Do Rtint™ Smoked Tail Light Wraps wraps have a glossy finish? Yes, this film has a glossy finish except for the Matte series film which has a flat finish. Is the surface durable? When applied correctly to the appropriate hard flat surface the Vinyl film is very durable, UV stable and scratch resistant. Will Rtint™ Smoked Tail Light Wraps Wraps fade in the sun? No, it is coated with a UV protective layer which will last up to three years outdoors. Can it be cleaned? Yes, once applied and bonded to your surface you may clean it and polish it with such things Armor All or any type of cleaning agent that is Acetate free. We recommend the use of Rapid Clear for maintaining your Rwrap. What is the difference between Tint, Protection and Midnight Static Cling Tint? Tint, Protection and Midnight Static Cling tint are designed to change the color of the lens, without greatly changing the output color. > Tint & Midnight Static Cling covers are for aesthetics or "looks" only. No protection is provided. > Protection film protects your lights from small road debris, UV damage, sand and weather elements. > Tint & Midnight Static Cling film is 3 mil (.0042") thick and protection film is 15 mil or (.021") thick. > Protection film is five times thicker and more difficult to apply, heat is required. > Tint and Protection tint are adhesive backed, Midnight Static Cling tints are static cling. > Tint and Protection light tint can be removed, but can not be reapplied. > Midnight Static Cling vehicle tint can be removed and reapplied any time. Are your colored films legal on headlights for street use? Clear Protection films are legal. Our colored tint films may not be legal for street use on primary lighting.
