These Jeep Liberty 2008-2012 headlight tints are securely packaged in moisture-proof, shrink wrap and shipped to you within one business day. And, once you take them out of the package Rvinyl offers some of the most detailed installation guides and how-to videos anywhere.

Installing headlight tints on your Jeep Liberty 2008-2012is a much quicker and painless undertaking when you have the right tools. This is why we recommend using all of the surface preparation and installation fluids we carry such as Rapid Prep, Rapid Tac and Rapid Clear as well as a squeegee with friction sleeve. When you've got the right tools you can count on doing a better job. Nonetheless, these headlight tint kits are made using multi-cast film with air-egress adhesives so you get bubble free results every time.

Rtint® Smoked Films come in two different shades of smoke. The darkness of the shade is measured in a VLT (Variable Light Transmission) percentage. This number measures the amount of light that can be transmitted through the tint naturally with no back-lighting coming from a bulb. The higher the number, the the brighter the light will be that is allowed to pass through and the least amount of effective it will have on light output. The lower the number, the darker your light will appear. It works opposite of window tint VLT as you are trying to make the light appear darker on the outside rather than from the inside. Rtint® Smoke film, which is by far our most popular shade, will smoke your lights by about 38% while still allowing 62% of light to enter the housing. It will not block 38% of back-lighting coming from a bulb, but will certainly have an affect on light output.

I purchased the "Smoke" tinted headlight covers and couldn't be happier. My reason for purchasing the tints was to cover headlight lens that had become scratched and fogged. I had previously tried to clean the headlight covers without good results. I installed the tinted covers by following both the included quick guide and online instructions. The tinted headlights were a great fit and now look practically new. My only issue was a couple of small bubbles that I'm hoping I can remove by using a pin after the film has dried for 24 hours. This was a great savings over buying new light assemblies. Good purchase! Make: Jeep Model: Liberty Year: 2008
