Installing headlight tints on your Chevrolet Colorado 2015-2022is a much quicker and painless undertaking when you have the right tools. This is why we recommend using all of the surface preparation and installation fluids we carry such as Rapid Prep, Rapid Tac and Rapid Clear as well as a squeegee with friction sleeve. When you've got the right tools you can count on doing a better job. Nonetheless, these headlight tint kits are made using multi-cast film with air-egress adhesives so you get bubble free results every time.

Rtint® Smoked Films come in two different shades of smoke. The darkness of the shade is measured in a VLT (Variable Light Transmission) percentage. This number measures the amount of light that can be transmitted through the tint naturally with no back-lighting coming from a bulb. The higher the number, the the brighter the light will be that is allowed to pass through and the least amount of effective it will have on light output. The lower the number, the darker your light will appear. It works opposite of window tint VLT as you are trying to make the light appear darker on the outside rather than from the inside. Rtint® Smoke film, which is by far our most popular shade, will smoke your lights by about 38% while still allowing 62% of light to enter the housing. It will not block 38% of back-lighting coming from a bulb, but will certainly have an affect on light output.

    <p>I wanted a smoke tint however I didn't want to spend $400-600 for new custom headlamp assemblies (or take the front end of my truck completely apart to install them). I went with the Rtint precut smoked film covers instead. Nice quality product and easier to install than I originally thought. The installation video on YouTube helped substantially since I had never tried this type of product install before. No problems whatsoever and results look great! I've already had several compliments regarding the change in overall appearance of my truck. Make: Chevy Model: Colorado Year: 2016</p>
