Installation is a breeze and trapped air can easily be massaged out. The satin finish shows off body lines no matter the lighting conditions.

Hello, Is there any difference in quality and adhesive between the 3M 2080 and 3M 1080? I was told the only difference is the 3M 2080 has been upgraded to be easier to apply? I’m wanting the best model for a vehicle emblem. Thanks!

How much wrap should I buy to do a chrome delete?
October 8, 2023 9:09 AM
J5Colli, Great question. Yes, the 2080 film is new and improved. It is easier to apply than the 1080 film and has a few other benefits. You can learn all bout the differences here: 1080 Vs 2080 The warranty has not changed and for something small like an emblem, I don't think you will really appreciate the difference in films or notice them. Now if you were doing a full wrap, 2080 would be the better choice!

Hi Joe, Do you want to wrap your entire vehicle or just a part? If you want to do the whole vehicle we recommend a 25 yard wrap.

How much wrap should I get to do a chrome delete
October 8, 2023 9:09 AM
The amount of wrap you'll need for a chrome delete on your vehicle can vary depending on the size and model of the vehicle, as well as the specific areas you plan to wrap. To get a precise estimate, it's recommended to measure the areas you intend to wrap and consult with a professional vinyl wrap installer or a supplier who can provide you with the right amount of vinyl wrap material. Generally, for a chrome delete, you would need enough vinyl wrap material to cover the chrome trim or accents on your vehicle. This could include areas like window surrounds, door handles, side mirror caps, and other chrome details. The amount of wrap material required will also depend on whether you plan to wrap just the visible surface or if you're covering the entire piece. Vinyl wrap material is typically sold in rolls with varying widths, such as 60 inches (5 feet) or 72 inches (6 feet). The length of the roll you'll need will depend on the total area you want to wrap. It's a good idea to purchase a little extra to account for any mistakes or to ensure you have enough for proper coverage.
