I bought the Carbon Fiber black along with the gloss yellow vinyl wrap for a Transformers-themed project, and it did not disappoint. The carbon fiber 2080 wrap gives an ultra-premium look with a realistic texture that feels high-end. It's easy to apply and instantly transformed my project into something sleek and modern—definitely worth every penny!

Great product. Better quality than others out there.

Product creased very easily and did not allow even small air bubbles to release. This was my first try with 3d carbon fiber and I like the look but it didn’t clean up well and even after the heat gun there are lines where minor folds occurred. I’ll only use this on mostly flat surfaces that I can lay it down basically perfectly smooth. Very difficult to work with and get a good result. Also I noticed it detaching a few days later in some spots.. quarter size air bubbles that were not there . Overall I learned I do not care for this product. I’ll just to a flat black next time I suppose

Super satisfied

How much do I need to wrap the hood on 2007 BMWX3 ?

Wrapping a car's hood with vinyl requires accurate measurements to ensure that you have enough material. It's important to measure the specific dimensions of the hood to know how much vinyl you will need, as sizes can vary even between the same model of cars due to modifications, alterations, or different trim levels. For the 2007 BMW X3, the approximate dimensions of the hood can vary, but you can expect something in the range of 60 inches in length and 50 inches in width. Since you're looking at 60-inch wide vinyl, you'll likely need enough length to cover the hood's length plus some extra for trimming and wrapping around the edges. Given the above dimensions: 60 inches (length) + some extra for edges (say 5 inches on each side) = 70 inches total length 60 inches (width of vinyl) So you would need 70/36 = 72-inch long by 60-inch wide vinyl. Keep in mind that these measurements are rough estimations and it would be wise to consult with a professional or take precise measurements of the specific hood for the most accurate requirements. Many professionals recommend purchasing a little extra material to account for mistakes or repositioning during the installation process, so you might want to consider adding a bit more to the above estimation.
