Purchased a 2’ x 5’ Machined Steel length and the image shows the grain running along the length. Received and it runs the in the 2’ length. Will not work for my trim project.
Rvinyl will not return or exchange so beware.

3M has really done the Lord's work with the 2080 series vinyl. It's incredibly easy to install, and removing bubbles and creased is a breeze. It has a high quality look and feel, making it suitable for luxury vehicles. At such a low cost, the ROI is very high.

Glad I purchased more than was needed for my project, There was a bit of a learning curve on getting the vinyl installed. My first attempt is not pretty up close. No fault of the material though. The look is exactly what I was hoping it would look like. Tried to create a faux metal accent panel on the tailgate like you would see on platinum or limited editions. My second attempt will go much smoother as I learned where I made most of my mistakes The depth of color and appearance in this brushed steel pattern is amazing. I have had many compliments on the look of the vinyl
