I rated the installation a 3 because the 3M 1080 is harder to work with on odd bends and shapes. It does not stretch well without distorting the color density. However, the color and style I have chosen is not available in the 3M 2080 version. I am very happy with Rvinyl as I received exactly what I ordered without any damage and in very quick time.
The vinyl wrap that I ordered (ord. #310274- Gloss Cosmic Blue looks to be of high quality. I was trying to the color of my 2018 Ford Mustang GT, Lightning Blue, to do some repair work between the lower grill and spoiler. But is not quite the same. I am going to keep what you sent me for another project. If you have a vinyl wrap closer to or Lightning Blue wrap the same size (12" x 60") please let me know. email addr. - dswordfishtwo@aol.com. It was my first project and went pretty well but I did have more trouble at the start. Got better as I went. Big mistake was not having enough loose "tag" ends on my knifeless tape during set up for the graphics I had planned. You need at least 3" to make it easier to make the first cut begining of the cutting process. In some places I only had an inch to grab onto and it made things pretty tough.
The wrap was great! The appearance was nice, was easy to install, and was overall great!
The only complaint I have is with the shipping and follow up to. It took over a week to get to me. This time would of been reasonable in the past. Product was delivered on monday, the 28th, which I just received the email from you folks yesterday. I hope I do not sound like I am knit picking. I was just hoping to receive quicker then I did. It is w very good product though and I am pleased. I will be placing another order. Thx, Chuck
