Carbon Fiber Vinyl Hood and Trunk Wrap Kit Product Description: |
At an outstanding 30" width, these
are the widest films available on the market. Designed at 30" they
offer the widest surface area application while still allowing the
installer to apply the kit with relative ease.
The realistic carbon fiber pattern may be applied side by side
to accommodate any width hood or trunk with a minimum visible seam!
With Rvinyl Flex-Tech adhesive backing, these films conform to
curves while still maintaining a high level of UV stability perfect
for demanding climates.
When carbon fiber hoods
are not available for your vehicle or when hundreds of dollars seems
a little too steep, Carbon Fiber "Wide Body" Wrap Kits
are
the way to go.
After applying the vinyl wrap film, you simply trim the excess vinyl with a
sharp blade or hobby knife (not included). What you have left is a
customized interior without the head aches and costs associated with
painting the interior or trim pieces of your vehicle.
The wrap kit is a vinyl film sheet. It is not a carbon fiber hood or trunk.
To what can Rvinyl Wrap Kits be applied to?
Your car's hood, trunk, or just about any
relatively non-porous surface.
Do you offer a wider
hood kit?
Sorry, we do not offer wider kits as they would be too difficult for
the average installer to handle during the application method.
Do they have a glossy finish?
Yes, it has a gloss finish. It is not however a high gloss finish such
as our Carbon Fiber II and III series films.
Is the surface durable?
When applied correctly to the appropriate hard surface the film is very
durable and scratch resistant.
Can it be applied to curved surfaces?
Yes, that is what it is designed for. We do recommend a heated
application method on curved surface.
Will it fade in the sun?
No, it is coated with a UV protective layer which will last up to three years
outdoors.
Can it be cleaned?
Yes, once applied and bonded to your surface you may clean it and polish it
with such things Armor All or any type of cleaning agent that is Acetate
free.
What are the films physical properties?
Thickness of film plus adhesive: .0042" (0.010668cm)
Application temperature: 50°F to 104°F (10°C - 40°C)
Rvinyl recommends an application temperature of 70-80°F (21° -26°)
End Use temperature after application: -5°F to 194°F (-20°C - 90°C) |
