Rwraps™ Silver Brushed Aluminum wraps are premium quality vinyl wrapping films that give you the look and feel of real brushed aluminum trim. Our Silver Brushed Aluminum vinyl looks so real that you have to do a double take just to even notice it. Just take a look at the installed examples of this dash wrap installed in a customer's 2017 Honda Accord and you'll see what we mean. Engineered for interior and exterior use, this film is warrantied to last at least 3 years without fading, peeling or cracking although it has lasted for much longer in our experience.

Rwraps™ Silver Brushed Aluminum: A Cheaper Alternative

Designed with the DIY installer in mind, these ultra-realistic vinyl wraps are engineered with air-release adhesives that make installation as breeze. Buy by the foot or by the roll so you never have to buy more than you need to get your project done. When you can't find or afford 3M 2080 Series Brushed Aluminum 2080-BR120 or Avery Dennison Brushed Aluminum SW900-812-X, turn to this Silver Brushed Aluminum film from Rwraps™.

Installation is  a breeze with this premium cast aluminum wrapping film. Just clean and prepare your application surface, use heat from a heat gun or blow dryer and squeegee on. Because of the bubble-free air-channels that are invisibly embedded in the sticky side of the film you can easily work out any air pockets with on of our optional squeegees.

Top 3 Reasons to Choose Rwraps™ Silver Brushed Aluminum

Although there are any number of great reasons to buy a Silver Brushed Aluminum dash wrap here are the top three we hear most from our customers:

  1. The Silver Aluminum is an almost perfect factory match for most automotive aluminum trim pieces.
  2. Ease of installation due to the air-egress and heat conformability of the wraps.
  3. No minimum order quantity — order as much or as little as you want.

I used this to update the look of my Ford Ranger. Very flexible film, love the textured look. I found it easier to wrap the console by taking it off and doing it on the kitchen table, but I suppose you don't have to.

I wanted to move away from the carbon fiber films I see on Instagram and try something different.I wanted an OEM look that was stealth, the kind of custom job that looks expensive. I am happy i went with Rwraps. The quality is good, its flexible with air channels. once I was used to working with it and trimming out the glove box and other flat areas, next came the navigation system. Okay that was hard, but I was happy.

I love the texture looked of brushed aluminum and actually used this on an old refrigerator to update the look without having to replace it in my kitchen remodel. It looks great for the price and way cheaper than changing it out. It cleans up pretty well too and holds up just as good even with daily cleaning around the handles.

How well does this product work on MDF? I am doing some custom fabrication for a car audio project and would like to use this on some of the MDF trim pieces. I was told that with this type of product (not your brand specifically just in general) I would need to insure that the surface is primed and super smooth and even still does not stick that well to MDF. What is your take on it?

GingerBeard007, Yes this wrap and other brands of wrap can stick to MDF. But it does need to be properly prepared. It would need to be primed, sanded and preferably would be sealed with 3M Primer 94 to promote bonding. Another option would be to seal the areas you wish to wrap with polyurethane and it will help seal the enclosure and promote adhesion.
